Registration & Refund – FAQs
1. How do I register for a SCOPE activity?
Registrations are completed through the official SCOPE registration platform or announced registration channels. A registration is considered confirmed only after full payment of the registration fee.
2. Is my registration transferable to another person?
No. Registrations are non-transferable. The registered participant must attend the activity personally.
3. Can I cancel my registration?
Yes. Cancellation requests must be submitted formally through the official communication channels or the Refund Claim Form, where applicable. Cancellation does not automatically guarantee a refund.
4. Will I receive a refund if I cancel my registration?
Refund eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation and the specific terms of the activity. Refund decisions are made by the CME Planning Committee in accordance with the approved policy.
5. What happens if I do not attend the activity?
Non-attendance without prior cancellation does not qualify for a refund. Registration fees in such cases are non-refundable.
6. In which situations does SCOPE issue refunds?
Refunds may be issued only if:
1. The activity is cancelled by SCOPE
2. A refund is approved by the CME Planning Committee based on valid justification
3. Only the registration fee is refundable, if approved.
7. What is not covered under refunds?
SCOPE does not refund or compensate for:
1. Travel expenses
2. Accommodation costs
3. Personal or incidental expenses
4. Visa or transport arrangements
8. How do I request a refund?
Refund requests must be submitted using the official Refund Claim Form, along with required supporting information. Incomplete requests may not be processed.
9. How will the refund be paid?
Approved refunds are processed through official bank transfer only. Cash refunds are not permitted.
10. How long does the refund process take?
Refund processing timelines depend on internal approvals and finance procedures. Once approved, refunds are processed through the Finance Department of Shifa Foundation.
11. Who approves refund requests?
All refund decisions are reviewed and finalized by the CME Planning Committee. Their decision is final.
12. Can SCOPE change the registration or refund policy?
Yes. SCOPE reserves the right to revise registration and refund terms without prior notice. Updated policies will apply to future registrations.
